Betrothed To The Mafia Lord novel Chapter 252

Luca’s POV

“Of course you don’t, but I think you’re going to have to try to fight that habit.” I paused and pulled out my thumb from her mouth when she started to suck on it in a way that made heat flare out in my throat. I waited for a few seconds before starting to slip my index finger into her mouth when she glanced up at me with wide blown eyes which she blinked up at me.

“It’s cute and even sometimes hot, but I feel you’re always biting on it, and it’s almost turning into a habit of yours.” I slipped my index finger deeper into her mouth when she made to say something and her eyes widened for a moment before fluttering helplessly, as she started to suck on my finger.

“Can you try to not bite on it for the rest of today?” I asked after a few seconds, puffing out a small breath when she bit on my finger a little as her suckling got somehow stronger on my finger as she started to nod her head at me.

“Uh, yeah.” She whispered breathlessly when I finally pulled my finger out of her mouth.

“I’ll be watching you. If you manage to do it, I’d give you a really nice gift.” I continued, watching with contentment when she perked up at the mention of five bring involved.

“A gift is going to be involved? What is it?” She asked in the next moment, with excitement making its way into her voice in the next second.

I shook my head a little the next moment as I started to push her hair out of her face as I made to reply to her.

“You’d see for yourself then, for now, it’s a secret,”

I watched as her face dramatically fell in such a way that made me chuckle a little.

“You love keeping so many things from me, it makes me think a lot by trying to figure out what the thing could be.” She confessed, and her lips was back then being in a pout the next moment.

“Oh, bunny… stop stressing your cute head by trying to think about stuff like that because it could be anything, hm?”

“But I wanna know what it is instead of having to wait in suspense.” She whined after a few moments, lips protruding into a more prominent pout as well.

“You have no other choice, bunny.” I paused for a moment and pushed her hair out of her face. “Wait, I thought a lot of people love surprises.” I continued and watched as she shot me a look in the next second before starting to speak.

“Do you like surprises?” She asked in a knowing voice and I huffed a little as I started to shake my head.

“Not really. I don’t.”

“See? I don’t either.” She emphasized and I huffed out a small, fond laugh as I reached out and wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her into me in the next second and she plastered herself willingly as well, always eager to be in my arms each time.

“It’s a good surprise, it would always end up being worth all the fretting and anxiety, hm? My surprises are not always like that, sometimes it ends up being really bad, you know? With people who I could have saved being dead before I’d get to know about a certain thing, that’s definitely not a fun surprise, now is it?” I asked and felt her tremble against me a little as she shook her head in response to me.

“It isn’t.”

“See? It’s bad, that’s why I’m not a fan of surprises… but that’s not the case with you and I, my surprises to you would always be good and nothing but good because…” I trailed off, leaving the sentence hanging because I knew she was going to ask about it instantly.

“Because what?”

“How about you take a guess.” I said to her as I started to pull away from the hug and I stared down at her after a few seconds, noticing how she looked like she was deep in thoughts.

“Uh, because, because it’s you?” She asked in a low voice, obviously unsure of what she had just said. I breathed out a small chuckle as I started to shake my head at her.

“That’s pretty close, bunny, but not the exact answer.”

“Oh.” She whispered, a little bit of color flooding her cheeks and I nodded my head at her as I tucked her hair behind her ear.

“It’s because you’re a good girl, bunny.” I affirmed and watched as a grin broke out on her face after a few moments.

“Oh.” She whispered in awe before glancing up at me.

“I didn’t know that!” She declared me and I glanced down at her with a little furrowed gaze. “You didn’t?” I asked and watched as she started to shake her head even before I had gotten those words out of my mouth.
