Just then, a moving truck rolled into the residential area at a leisurely pace.

Inside the vehicle, Vivi occupied the front seat, her eyes narrowing as she observed the scene outside. A sly grin crept onto her lips.

“Well, well, isn’t this a spectacle?” she murmured with a mocking lilt.

“Who would’ve guessed? Sadie sure knows how to play her cards. Not only has she ensnared Noah, but even Alex is completely smitten. And now, Alex’s own mother has stepped in? What an entertaining turn of events!”

Jealousy and resentment laced Vivi’s words.

To her, Sadie had always been an unbearable nuisance–someone she wished would simply disappear.

But now, watching her rival thrive while she struggled was unbearable.

Turning to the driver, Vivi gestured toward a nearby apartment building.

“Pull over right there,” she instructed coolly.

The decision to move into this particular neighborhood hadn’t been random–she knew Noah frequented the area.

She was confident it wouldn’t take long before she ruined Sadie’s life and got everything that should belong to her, including Noah.

After dropping Averi off at kindergarten, Sadie went to her studio, but an uneasy feeling nagged at her all day.

“Nanette, how’s the progress on the design?” she inquired, massaging her temples as she glanced at Nanette, who stood

nearby.

Nanette, carrying a thick folder, let out a relieved sigh. “Everything’s been finalized. We’re just waiting on your last review.”

Nanette had concealed her mother’s financial crisis and hospitalization from everyone, even Sadie.
