"There is no what if, you must go." After a pause, Jeffery added, "I have already asked someone this morning to move all your things into your house and clear the house for you. You can only live in my house."

Cough* cough"

Jane could not hold back her saliva and choked on her tears. Her face was pale and red, for her underclothes, which she had washed only yesterday, were still hanging on the balcony...

That's  embarrassing!

Jane couldn't express her feelings and said in a low voice, "President, you are restricting my freedom."

"I am no restricting your freedom. You can do whatever you want."

"But..."

Jane wanted to argue but was interrupted by a phone ringing. She looked at the caller ID. It was her colleague's.

"Jane, the manager's wedding is about to begin. Why aren't you here yet?"

Lowering her eyelids, she bit her bottom lip. There was a slight throbbing pain in Jane's heart. Their manager was Susie, Larry's new wife. She was also her immediate superior.

She did not want to attend the wedding and did not want to see Larry wearing the wedding ring on another woman's hands. However, she had no choice. The whole department knew that Larry was her boyfriend, but he suddenly married Susie. Many people were critical of her. Besides, everyone in the company had gone to Susie's wedding. If she did not go, others would say she was too bitter.

He looked at the time. It was already eleven o'clock. The wedding began at twelve o'clock. "I will be right there."

Hanging up the receiver, she looked timidly at Jeffery and whispered, "I am going to the manager's wedding. I'll go first."

Then she stood up and said as if something came to her mind, "Tell me the address of the villa, and I'll go there by myself."

She did not want to go to Jeffery's mansion, but she had no choice. Her belongings had been moved and the house had been repossessed by him. She had used up all her salary in the last month and had no money to rent a house. If she did not leave, she could only sleep on the main street.
