Billionaire Lost to His Surrogate In A Love Game novel Chapter 239

Ophelia couldn’t help taking a step back. But Mrs. Conduibh approached, “Ophelia, his fate depends on you. I am sorry for being rude to you before. I am willing to kneel down in front of you to apologize as long as you could save him.”

Ophelia was stunned when hearing that. She had never expected that Mrs. Conduibh would make such a move out of agitation.

“Mrs. Conduibh, please don’t.” Ophelia hurried to support her up, who was about to kneel down at this moment. Gracie also came over to hold her up, “Mrs. Conduibh, please calm down. I am sure Tassach will be fine. He is an excellent and filial gentleman. I am sure watching you cry would be the last thing he wants.”

Mrs. Conduibh leaned against Gracie, crying.

Ophelia walked over to the bed and looked at Tassach. Mixed feelings seemed to surge up in her eyes.

Tassach, who was lying in the bed, looked as fine as usual though his face was a bit pale. He didn’t look different from those who was asleep. Ophelia would rather believe that Tassach was just in sound sleep instead of being trapped in coma.

In her opinion, Tassach had been capable and omnipotent just like Zachariah. Though Tassach disappeared from her life when she was in her worst time about four or five years ago, she had never blamed him for it. She believed that he had his own reason. The man she once loved must be a tough one. That was why Ophelia got in touch with him after so many years.

However, this excellent, warm-hearted and macho gentleman was now lying in the bed, trapped in coma. He would be likely to be in PVS for the rest of his life if he failed to wake up in three days.

Ophelia would rather deem it a prank, after which he would wake up himself. Or she would rather deem it a fairy tale—the Prince fell asleep, waiting for the Princess to wake him up with a kiss. However, though the fairy tale starred Tassach, Ophelia should not be involved. She was no more than Cinderella who was luckily enough to marry a prestigious guy while struggling to stay in that great family. However, she still failed to be recognized.

At the thought of that, Ophelia was overwhelmed with sadness because of this man in coma, and also because of the ambiguous relationship they once missed.

Ophelia bent over and said softly, “Tassach, I am here to see you. Can you wake up? Though you look like a prince while sleeping, I don’t want to be the princess breaking open my way through brambles and thorns only to see you in my front. It would only make me exhausted. And I am sure you don’t want to see me being exhausted, right? If you can wake up, we could still be good friends. Or…I know what I am talking about. You only have two days left. If you couldn’t wake up in two days, I have to take back my words.”

Out of everyone’s expectation, Tassach seemed to frown a bit as soon as Ophelia finished. Both Gracie and Mrs. Conduibh, who had been watching, were all surprised and looked at each other. Mrs. Conduibh hurried to yell, “Gracie, did you see that? He frowns! Hurry, call the doctors! Now!”
