Billionaire Lost to His Surrogate In A Love Game novel Chapter 263

Madeleine gave Ophelia another look and said, “Honey, don’t talk nonsense.”

Ophelia ordered a few dishes and then said, “Carson, today is the first time we meet, I do not know what you like to eat. You feel free to order, and this meal is on me.”

Carson didn’t refuse and ordered four dishes, then smiled, “I'm a man, how can I let a woman pay for it? You guys can order whatever you want, it’s on me.”

Ophelia said with a smile while Madeleine was ordering, “I often come here to eat with Zachariah, and we’re kind of regulars here. Every dinner bill will be written down and sent to the Chambers Group. So I think I can afford such a meal, unless you look down on me.”

Carson then didn’t insist.

After they all ordered, Ophelia began to inquire, “Carson, I heard Madeleine say that you want to terminate her contract, is it true?”

Carson took a sip of tea and laughed, “That's just a misunderstanding. She is a very good author and writes novels that are interlocked and look very intriguing. How could I let go of such a talented author?”

After saying that, Carson's eyes swept towards Madeleine.

Being looked at by him like this, Madeleine suddenly felt her tongue scorched and suddenly stood up. Ophelia gave her a strange look, and she hurriedly found an excuse, “Honey, I'm going to go to the bathroom.”

Looking at Madeleine who was running away, Ophelia said, “Madeleine, there is a bathroom in the box.”

But Madeleine had already opened the door and went out.

As the door closed, Ophelia, who was sitting in the original position, slowly put away her smile and said calmly, “Mr. Harrison, I called you here today because there is something I want to confirm with you.”

Carson felt he had underestimated Ophelia before. From her spontaneous change of mood, the woman in front of him was definitely not a vase.

“Call me Carson, please.” Carson reiterated.
