Zachariah looked serious and was surprisingly silent.

Mr. Kenelm sighed, smoothed his hair, and said, “I didn’t mean to judge you, but you’re so not clever on this. How could you do such a thing? I like Ophelia from the bottom of my heart. Although she does not have a distinguished family, she has a sincere heart, which Cora can never compare with. I thought you would be good to her, but you did such a foolish thing. Zachariah got his hands clasped together and said, “Mr. Kenelm, I’ll handle it.”
