It was all that Eric was doing.

Lying to himself that he has no feelings for Alissa.

Drinking every night thinking about her.

Ignoring the feeling that he still want Alissa.

He was just being a selfish creature. He came to know that in one month, Cheryl and her parents are going to come back. He was frustrated, angry, furious. He had never dreamt that someone will ever have the power to control him.

His father had the full power in his hands. He could bring Eric down in the swap of his fingers if Eric deny to marry Cheryl. He never said that she is clingy or something. Cheryl is beautiful, but again not compared to Alissa. He don't know what to do and how to do.

The day he asked Alissa to come to his cabin and told her to forget all those things which happened in his apartment. His heart was breaking. As he said every word he knew that it was the biggest lie he is telling to someone. But there was no other way even.

His eyes were red, sweat was visible on his face. He came in the bar with his two friends. Josh and Edward. They said that the night which they planned together was not as great as they thought it would be. Because Eric was missing with Alissa. So, they decided they should come and give it another try.

Edward and Josh was sitting right in front of him, trying to understand in which deep thought he was in. Josh nudged at Edward's arm.

"What?" Edward whispered.

"I think we should take him to a psychiatrist" Josh said.

"Why?" Edward frowned.

"He is in love and if Eric William is in love that means he is not in his correct senses" Josh said quite seriously.

"Josh, bro, are you seriously this stupid or you do this just to annoy me. I think right now you are the one who needs help of a physiatrist" Edward said and Josh puffed his mouth.

They both stared at him and were now quite worried.

"Hey Eric, are you okay?" Edward asked.

"Yeah" he said blankly. Edward looked sideways and whispered to Josh "Is he getting married?"

"No?" Josh said though it came out more like a question.

"Then why is he so sad?" Edward said frustrated.

Eric got up and rolled up his sleeves. He loosen his tie and ruffled his hair. He took his beer glass and drank it all at once. Both Josh and Edwards looked at him with mouth hung wide opened.

"I-I wan-aa-want Al-issa" He slurred. His eyes were shot red.

"Dude, what are you saying?" Josh said

"I want Alissa" He said again.

"You can't have her, you are the one who told her to keep the things professional and now you are the one who is saying you want her" Edward said in a serious tone.

"No, it was a lie. I want her with me" Eric said.

"You are just going to break her heart" Edward said.

"You just want to spend a night with her" Edward continued.

Eric clenched his jaw. Fury was visible in his eyes.

"I want more than that. I want freaking more than to spend a night with her" Eric said.
