Chapter 414
Olivia was not a reckless person. She had made thorough preparations for this trip to Ritchfield. She brought a lot of things, and she had researched a lot of information. The number of guards was also sufficient. Not only were there personal guards accompanying her, but there were also plainclothes guards around. There were people ready to provide support or assistance at every location along the way.
Every route was carefully planned.
The Grant family was not at the end of their rope yet. They would act cautiously out of consideration for their identity and the election. They might resort to underhanded tactics, but they would not dare to create a major disturbance. Therefore, Olivia’s trip was dangerous, but it was not as serious as Daniel had imagined.
After two days of preparation, they set off on the third day.
Olivia woke up early. She went downstairs, wanting to take a taxi to the airport. As soon as she arrived at the living room, she saw Elena panicking. “Oh no, Miss Taylor,” she said. “Anna suddenly has leg pain, and she can’t walk.”
Let’s go take a look.” Olivia said. She hurriedly went to the guest room on the second floor with Elena.
In the room. Anna’s face was pale. She was covered in sweat from the pain. Wesley sat beside her, looking at her worriedly.
Wesley, don’t worry about me.” Anna said as she bit her lower lip and endured the pain. ‘Go ahead and set off with Mr. Sullivan and others. Don’t let me hold things up.”
Olivia carefully examined Anna’s complexion. She then frowned and said, “We have to send her to the hospital right away.”
Wesley grabbed Anna’s hand and said, “I’ll send you there.”
o. Anna said, shaking her head. “Don’t worry about me. Don’t hold Sullivan up. Hurry up and set off.”
What about you?” Wesley said. “I’m worried. He was in a dilemma.
Elena spoke up at this moment. “I’ll send Anna to the hospital,” she said. “I’ll stay to look after her.”
Anna’s eyes lit up, but she quickly concealed it. She frowned and said hesitantly, “Is it okay? Elena, don’t let me hold you up just because I’m not well.”
Wesley also turned to look at Elena, wanting to say something but hesitating. It’s okay. Elena said. Her tone was gentle, but her expression was incredibly resolute. ‘I’ll stay to take care of Anna.”

“Elena.” Anna said, tears welling up in her eyes, “sorry for being a burden and holding you up.”
Olivia stood at the side and quietly watched this little drama. She felt that Anna had a bit of cleverness. Instead of joining along to keep an eye on Wesley and Elena by going through the hardships of long–distance journeys, Anna thought it was better to pretend to be unwell so that she could keep Elena by her side, effectively keeping Elena and Wesley apart.
Unfortunately, Olivia could not let Elena stay.
“I have medical skills,” Olivia said as she extended her hand. “Let me take a look at your leg.”
Upon hearing that, Anna’s pupils contracted, and her body instinctively tensed for
a moment.
Wesley looked at Olivia and was pleasantly surprised. “Ms. Taylor, you have medical skills?” he asked.
“Of course,” Elena said proudly. “Miss Taylor is the head of the Smith family. Do you know about Smith Hospital in Layfield? That’s hers.”
Seeing that Olivia’s hand was about to touch her leg, Anna’s eyes briefly showed a change in expression. She suddenly asked, “Ms. Taylor, do you have a medical license?
Η
There was a pause in Olivia’s hand movement. She turned her eyes to look at
Anna.
Anna smiled and said, “Ms. Taylor, don’t misunderstand. It’s not that I’m looking down on you, but my leg condition is very unique. I have high expectations when. it comes to the experience that a doctor has. It is ideal that I’m examined by my regular attending physician. Only the attending physician can have a comprehensive understanding of my condition and prescribe the right treatment.” At this point, Anna sighed with a sad expression. She continued, “This leg has brought me too much pain. I’m really afraid. No offense. Other than my attending physician, I do not want to be attended by anyone else.”
“Oh,” Olivia replied as she raised her gaze and looked at Anna appraisingly in at calm manner. Her amber–colored eyes were clear and pure, as if they could see through people’s minds.
Instinctively, Anna shrank back and quickly lowered her eyes. She did not dare to look at Olivia.
Seeing this, Olivia chuckled lightly. She could not be bothered to argue with such a person. She said directly, “Since you firmly believe that only your attending physician can treat you well, let attending physician examine you then.”
