Chapter 477
Jason’s eyes were blazed with fury.
Olivia said coldly, “Jason, how dare you! Well, do you still dare to attack me in the Flores family?
“Where are the Flores family’s men?”
“Here”
“Here!”
Olivia’s words were met with a quick response.
One after another, the reply of the men resounded through the house. Jason’s eyes dimmed. He closed his eyes and suppressed the fury in his
eyes.
Now was not the time for a head–on confrontation. Lucy valued her reputation the most. Jason knew he had to explain this matter clearly. Jason’s mind was racing and he quickly had an idea. He ignored Olivia and turned his gaze to Dolph. “Mr. Flores, the Flores family’s Saintess is suffering from hysteria. There’s something wrong with her mind. I know the director of the National Mental Hospital. I can get her a VIP room.” The moment he made a move, he intended to label Olivia as mentally ill. Dolph was taken aback for a moment and did not say anything. Jason continued, ‘Mr. Flores, are you going to offend the other three families for the sake of Saintess? Daniel is coming soon. If you continue to let Saintess slander me and Lucy and can’t clear our names, and if you don’t give us a clear explanation, the Sprout family and the Lopez family will withdraw from the Star Competition.”
Then, he turned to the elder of the Dale family and said, “Mr. Dale, the Flores family has gone too far. Are you willing to join forces with the Sprout family and the Lopez family to hold another Star Competition?” Upon hearing this, the First Elder of the Dale family quickly realized that. Jason was taking the opportunity to cut out the Flores family.
Raymond was in deep thought and found it quite good. Although the benefits given by Daniel from the Hushe Republic were attractive, it was better to split it among the three families than the four families. Moreover, the Flores family had started the conflict first.
Thinking of this, Raymond nodded and agreed with Jason. “I have seen
Bilgine’s Missing Werling
everything that happened today. Although this matter has nothing to do with the Dale family, to be fair and objective, it’s true that the Flores
family’s Saintess was rude. What right does she have to slander Jason and Lucy with no evidence!”
“Who said I have no evidence?” Olivia said, “I have a witness!”
Everyone was shocked again following her words.
Jason’s face took on a ghastly expression. Could it be that there were others present that day?
“Come out,” Olivia ordered.
A man in black walked out of the crowd.
Someone from the Sprout family recognized the man and exclaimed, “It’s Gale Sprout! Why is he here?”
At the sight of Gale, Jason’s eyes dimmed, and he couldn’t stay calm anymore as usual.
Without taking a look at Jason, his former master, Gale walked to Olivia’s side and bowed his head. “Greetings, Saintess.”
“You tell everyone what happened.”
Gale nodded and turned to the crowd. He was bent over with his head. hung to the extent that his face could not be seen clearly. “On the day of the competition, Jason and Lucy were having a tryst in the forest. Saintess ran into them. In order to prevent this matter from being spread, Jason asked me to kill Saintess!”
His words gave everyone quite a jolt and they all looked at Jason in
shock.
Could it be that what the Saintess said was true?
Dolph frowned. Although he didn’t like the Saintess, no matter what, she was still a member of the Flores family. The problem between them was an internal conflict. They should work together to resolve the external conflict.
He turned to Jason and asked in a questioning tone. “I remember that Lucy and my grandson, Edwin, are engaged. Jason, you first snatched my granddaughter–in–law and then tried to kill the Flores family’s Saintess. What else do you have to say?
Jason’s situation was getting more and more disadvantageous, but he still managed to maintain his composure and said in a disdainful tone, “It’s just a one–sided story. Gale is a traitor of the Sprout family, so of course
he will spare no effort to slander me.”
Traitor?
Hearing this, everyone looked at each other in dismay.
Olivia sat back on the recliner and looked at Jason with a smile. “Traitor, Gale. Your master said you’re a traitor.”
Speaking of this, she turned to the two men behind Jason. Like Gale, they were Jason’s trusted aides.
Olivia looked straight at them and said word by word, “Did you see that? This is the master you are loyal to. For his own benefit and to protect a woman, he actually slandered you guys who risked their lives with him as traitors!
