Chapter 643
By the time Ian returned from the balcony after making the call, Kelly had already prepared a table full of food.
She waved at him and said, “Mr. Walter, come and eat.”
Dinner was prepared to Ian’s taste. Since he had been injured previously, some ingredients that were beneficial for his recovery were added.
Kelly thought, ‘I feel like I’ve been really putting my heart and soul into taking care of Ian lately, being so attentive. If he still doesn’t forgive me after all that I’ve done, I really don’t know what to do.‘
“Sit here, Mr. Walter,” Kelly said. She stood up and pulled out a chair for Ian.
Ian remained silent and expressionless. He simply nodded faintly and sat down.
“Try it,” Kelly said. “How’s the food today?” She ingratiatingly served Ian, picking up a bit of each dish for him.
Ian’s heart was practically blooming with happiness, but on the surface, he remained reserved, wearing an indifferent expression and eating with elegant
gestures.

Kelly could not quite pinpoint it, but the only thing she could be sure of was that Ian was not angry.
“This is all that matters,’ she thought.

somewhat nervous. “Mr. Walter, do you remember when Brenda came yesterday?” she asked.
Ian did not have a strong impression of other people. After pondering for a moment, he nodded and said, “Yes.”
Kelly bit her lower lip, wanting to apologize to lan on behalf of Brenda.
However, after thinking about it for a while, she realized that this was not a good idea. In the past, when such incidents happened, she had also tried to intercede for others, but it did not have much of an effect.
She thought, ‘Ian is a narrow–minded person who holds a grudge and seeks revenge for even minor slights, so a simple apology won’t work. It’s not strong enough. I need to do something that is more impactful.‘
After thinking it over, Kelly spoke with anger that was driven by a sense of justice. “Mr. Walter, I’m no longer friends with Brenda!” she said.
