Blood Oath: Forever Yours novel Chapter 39

Then, Charlotte spitted out a mouthful of water from her mouth in an instant.

Lawrence was shocked. At the same time, he could obviously feel the petite body in his arms slowly regained her heartbeat and body temperature.

"Lotta?"

A bright light flashed through Lawrence's eyes. He stiffly pushed the woman in his arms away and looked down to see her face.

But the next second, it seemed that his mental tension had been relieved, so Lawrence suddenly felt dizzy. He felt pain and dull on his body at the same time and he directly fell down.

“Mr. Harris..."

...

Charlotte faced the dazzling light overhead and struggled to open her eyes.

The sound of waves rolled in her ears.

She struggled to sit up and she found herself lying in the room of a yacht.

The memory before falling into the sea suddenly appeared in her mind.

Someone was shouting her name and even dived into the sea to save her.

In her vague memory, the man seemed to be...

As she thought of that impossible person, Charlotte vigorously shook her head. It couldn’t be him! He used to wish that she was dead. How could he come to save her specifically?

Maybe it was the person who first saved her that caught her back? After all, she was a woman worth 30 million dollars.

There was a sudden sound of rapid footsteps outside.

Then, she heard an anxious voice asking, "How is it? Has Mr. Harris’s fever gone down yet?”

Charlotte was startled.

Mr. Harris? Lawrence?

She had said this before, that it wasn’t worthy. She wasn’t worthy before and now, she was even not worthy.

Charlotte didn't know how long she had stood behind the door.

She stood there for a long time until there wasn’t any sound outside her door. Only then, she moved her numb feet, gently opened the door and went out.

The cabin and deck were bright.

Jeffrey stood on the deck, smoking, and talked with his subordinates from time to time .

The cabin was not too big for Charlotte to find Lawrence's room.

The door was opened, and Lawrence was dully lying on bed. Not know whether it was pain or something else, even in a coma, he was frowning with a taut expression.

Charlotte originally just wanted to have a look at him for a while and leave afterwards.

But after seeing him in this condition, she hesitated for a moment. However, she still pursed her lips and walked into his room.
