After finishing her words, there was a slight change in Evelyn’s expression and she grinded her teeth with hatred. “You gave up on Lawrence back then and he was forced to leave the city. Now that he has just returned to the country, he has started to lay hands on the Garcia Group. It’s obvious he wants to take the chance to revenge.”

Evelyn squinted and glanced at Charlotte from the corner of her eyes. She sounded even more despicable. “To be honest, it’s all because of you. Therefore, you should be the one making amends for all of these now. I’ll send you to Lawrence’s and you have to make him give up on the thought of pressuring on the Garcia Group.”

She squatted before Charlotte, pinched her chin and looked at her from left to right. A cold smile broke up on her lips. “You know men, they would more or less have some special feelings towards their first love. As long as you behave well, I’m sure you can do it.”

A chill instantly spread over her body. Charlotte raised her head at once and met Evelyn’s calculating eyes. She turned her head away strongly and rejected without hesitance. “I won’t see him!” No matter for what reason, it was her who gave up on Lawrence back then, and she no longer had the eligibility to stand in front of him. For someone as dirty as her, she did not even dare to do so…

A slap landed on her face. Due to the impact, Charlotte fell hard onto the floor. “Who gives you the right to reject?” Evelyn grabbed her hair and forced her to raise her face.
