Blood Oath: Forever Yours novel Chapter 43

The room was originally a garage and Evelyn forcefully transformed it into a storage room after marrying Michael. Charlotte learned after a long period of time that it was actually Evelyn’s ‘private coffer’.

The person opened the door of the storage room and quickly sneaked into the room and even plucked up courage to turn on a small lamp.

She then rummaged through the boxes and cabinets under the dim light. Although the woman was wearing a hat and a mask, Charlotte still saw clearly of her facial features and back that she was familiar with.

Only Evelyn would run the risk of coming back to the Garcia Mansion at this juncture for the sake of money.

Charlotte gritted her teeth and clenched her fists tightly. Standing behind the curtain, she had the impulse to rush out of the house and to bite her neck, suck her blood and eat her flesh for many times.

But she held it back in the end.

Evelyn could not atone for her crimes even if she died for hundreds of times. It would be a mercy for her if she died easily!

At the next moment, she put down the curtain and under the cover of the dark night, she walked out of the door. After the short while, her figure disappeared in the darkness.

The person in the storage room was rummaging for her treasures excitedly and hadn’t notice the noise from outside of the door.

The person turned off the lamp after a short while and held up a replenished bag with difficulty. She then walked out of the room furtively and ran towards the gate after making sure that there was no one in the surroundings.

However, the moment she ran out of the Garcia Mansion, a noise sounded by her ears. And a strong flash of high beams shone on her face.

The woman shivered. She hurriedly raised her hand to cover her eyes and struggled to find out the source of the beams, only to meet Charlotte’s red and ferocious eyes in the air.

“Ah…”

The woman screamed like she had seen a ghost. She trembled violently and then things in her bag fell down onto the ground and scattered along with a tinkling sound.

She turned around without a second thought, pounced towards the treasures and frantically tried to pick them up.

As expected, she wanted money more than life.

Charlotte sneered. Her hands that were holding the steering wheel tightened and she put her foot down on the gas.

After picking up the treasures from the ground, the woman turned around, only to find that Charlotte was driving her car towards her in a high speed.

When she was about to be slammed by the car, it abruptly came to a halt and the gap between her and the car was only several centimeters’ wide.
