Blood Oath: Forever Yours novel Chapter 9

She had developed an almost deadly horror towards darkness now. It had been five years, one thousand and eight hundred more days. Having struggled in that pitch black room without sunlight all year long, it seemed to be a nightmare that she could not get rid of. At the moment, even a little bit of light would be her savior.

Lawrence stood there superiorly. His apathetic voice was heard from above. “Turn on the light? I’m afraid after doing so, you can’t bear seeing something. And there’s something I feel disgusted when I do.” Charlotte was startled at the spot. What did he mean by she could not bear seeing something? And what disgusting thing was he trying to do?

She trembled while clinging towards his long leg and wanted to get up, trying to see his face by relying on the light at the corridor. As her eyes just fell onto his face, a strong big hand was clamped onto her neck at once. The door was slammed shut behind him. Lawrence dragged her all the way into the dark room and suppressed her on the icy floor.

He grabbed her hair, gritted his teeth and approached her ear, speaking frigidly, “Charlotte Garcia, do you still remember what I said to you when I left City B after you abandoned me? Since Miss Garcia likes to play with men that much and I’ve returned this time, I’ll have plenty of fun with you!” Charlotte’s dress was torn into pieces after he finished his words.

Lawrence who was behind her slightly got up. There was the sound of him untying his belt in the dark and the sound of him taking off his clothes. Charlotte shuddered. Having realized what he was trying to do, she struggled madly and pushed him away while shivering. She shrilled with tears. “No! Lawrence, don’t do this to me, I beg you…”
