Caroline didn’t hide it from Kirk at all and immediately sent a message to Quentin. “All right. You can send me the details.” 

The screen kept showing that Quentin was typing, and a moment later, he sent another message. 

“My computer has a virus, so I can’t find the digital files anymore. But I’ve already printed out the details. Are you free this afternoon? I’ll bring them over.”

Caroline leaned against his chest in embarrassment, then distanced herself from him. “You’d better hurry up and go to work.” 

Kirk smiled. “Fine, but promise me that you’ll be home earlier tonight.” 

Caroline mumbled, “Just go.” 

“Are you saying yes?” 

Caroline was speechless. 

Kirk simply left the conversation at that and kissed Caroline’s lips. 

“I’ll wait for you back home.” And with that, he got into the car and drove away. 

Caroline waited for the warmth on her cheeks to go away before walking toward Thorne Corp with her high heels clicking on the road.
