She could ask him some business questions if she had his number on WhatsApp.

Caroline blinked, thinking that Kirk was getting impatient. She took out her phone and added Kirk on WhatsApp. Then, she said, “Sir, Da–Ms. Daphne, it’s getting late. So I’ll take my leave.”

Seeing Caroline turn around to leave, Kirk could no longer suppress his feelings and yelled, “Wait!”

His urgent yell startled everyone. When it was clear that Kirked at Caroline,

smiled gloatingly, thinking she had upset him.
