Jack was about to turn around and wake Caroline up. But he saw Kirk standing outside the car wearing a windbreaker and holding a coat, gesturing for him to be quiet. 

Jack understood his signal and quietly unlocked the backseat door. 

Kirk opened the door and gently covered Caroline’s face with the coat to prevent her from waking up due to the bright lights. Then, he bent down and carried Caroline in his arms. 

After Kirk was done, Jack exited the car and gently closed the door. When he looked up, he saw Kirk carrying Caroline. 

He folded his arms and leaned against the car door. After watching them for a while, he shook his head.

information.”
