Ignoring everyone’s gazes, Caroline looked at Marietta. 

Earlier, Marietta had constantly been on the move, so Caroline hadn’t had the chance to look at her 

properly. But now she finally had the opportunity to do so. 

That sense of familiarity between them became stronger when Marietta met Caroline’s gaze. She 

felt a sense of tenderness as she looked at Caroline. 

She unknowingly softened her tone. “What’s your name, miss?” 

Caroline returned to her senses. “Caroline Evans.”

asked kindly, “Why did you change my script?” 

Caroline explained, “Because I think Grace wouldn’t have been unphased when she found out that

“Y–you think Grace wouldn’t hate her mother?” 

“I’m not too sure about that.” 

Caroline said, “But as her daughter, Grace wouldn’t be filled with hatred unless you established 

her as a ruthless and unrighteous person. 

“But according to your profile of her character, Grace is a caring and righteous person. Since that’s 

the case, there’s no way she wouldn’t be moved.” 

Marietta slowly stood up, her eyes filled with tears. “You did a perfect job revising the script! I 

finally know what’s wrong with it!” 

This script was one of her earlier works. Back then, her daughter had been abducted. In her grief, 

she had turned to writing to relieve her sorrow. 

Since she had written this script in her early, inexperienced days, she knew there was a problem 

with the script, but she hadn’t been able to change it. 

Since her skills in writing had vastly improved over the years, she initially thought she could 

revise the script with her current expertise.
