It felt as if she had a lot of things to tell at every single moment. Rosalind had remarked that the 

gates to her creativity had opened. 

“What did you write?” Kirk knew that Caroline had been writing. But she was always so cryptic

When Caroline saw Kirk stretching out his hand, she quickly hid in her arms. 

“I still can’t show it to you. You can see it after I’m done writing.” 

Kirk chuckled, “Do you have to be so mysterious about it?”

She grabbed Kirk’s arm and changed the subject, “What are you doing here?” 

Kirk couldn’t resist pinching Caroline’s cheek. “I can’t believe you forgot such an important thing.” 

“What important thing?” Caroline blinked. 

Kirk leaned over and said, “Today is the day when the bank will announce who will take over 

Collins Group.” 

Only then did Caroline remember. “I can’t believe I forgot about it. What time is it? Have they 

already announced it??” 

Seeing Caroline’s anxious expression, Kirk reached out and hugged her around the waist. 

“There’s still half an hour left before the announcement,” he said, rubbing Caroline’s neck. 

“Darling, it’s boring to just wait around. Why don’t we find something to do?”
