Chapter 110
Hearing this, Reuben smiled at Naomi. “You really did have the bill, Naomi.”
Naomi collected her belongings and stood next to Brendan with a smile. “My husband will teimburse me
anyway.”
She then wrapped her arms around Brendan’s arm and teased, “Right, Mr. Ludwig?”
Although Brendan didn’t respond, he reached out and took her bag.
Mason and Ronald were baffled by the scene. “Does Brendan want a divorce or not?”
Cameron lightly tapped Ronald’s head with a paper. “You two still have a lot to learn.”
Despite the tension between him and Naomi, Brendan had never considered divorce. Regardless of what
the future might hold, their relationship was not at its end, at least for now.
When the group left the bar, their drivers had already brought their respective cars over.
After Naomi and Brendan got into the car, he turned to look at her. “You seem to be in a good mood.”
Naomi smiled. “Something like that.”
Winning the lawsuit had indeed put her in a good mood.
Seeing this, Brendan reached out and rubbed the back of her neck. “Did you win the lawsuit?”
Naomi told Brendan about the case earlier. After learning about Naomi’s perfect win, Brendan’s
expression grew stern unexpectedly.
James noticed the intimacy between the couple and smiled meaningfully. He hadn’t seen the couple being so close after their marriage.
