Ricky approached a middle-aged man and asked respectfully, "Sir, where are you going?"

"Ha-ha, welcome to our town! Of course, we will give you what you want. You know what? Since you are here for the first time, we will give you ten pills. This is the town of justice after all." The warrior smiled comely at him. He gestured to one of his companions who handed over some pills.

The warrior gave ten pills to Ricky. He could feel that there was no greed in the eyes of the people waiting for the pills though they admired his good fortune.

He felt like they were all innocent and pure people despite their enthusiasm for pills.

"Thank you so much, buddy," Ricky said excitedly.

"Would you like to try the effect of this pill now?" Ricky looked at the warrior curiously. He sounded too eager for Ricky to test the pills that it made him more suspicious.

Ricky saw the people who had taken the pills. They became energetic like there was a new power that filled their bodies.

"Okay, I'll give it a try!" Ricky nodded and then took a pill.

However, Ricky didn't swallow it. The moment the pill was inside his mouth, he immediately activated his devouring runes to wrap the pill. To mimic its effects, Ricky released some power and acted as if he was energized.

"It is a great pill!" Ricky exclaimed with faked excitement.

"Ha-ha, I'm glad that you think so. If you liked it, you can stay for a few more days in this town. The next batch of pills will arrive soon."

"Well, if you insist." Ricky grinned from ear to ear.
