Ricky slowed down his spinning until he landed on the ground steadily. The phantom weight of the Fire Dragon Extremity was a comfort in his hands, and even before he touched it, he had no intention of giving it away.
Meanwhile, Hyatt and Aaron were both shocked when they saw Ricky obtain the Fire Dragon Extremity easily since they were just planning to use Ricky to test its strength.
They didn't think that he would actually succeed. 'Maybe he has a flame mutant, ' they thought at the same time, as they glanced at each other from opposite sides of the room.
This thought aroused bitter jealousy in their hearts, but at this moment, they knew that they should hold back their emotions.
"Kenney, you really have a Flame Mutant. That flame didn't try to fight you at all. Can you please show it to us? It must be a kind of treasure we haven't seen before!" Hyatt praised Ricky with burgeoning excitement.
"I'm sorry, Hyatt, but I don't know how to take out that grayish-white flame. I'm afraid it has blended into my Flame Mutant," Ricky responded in turn. He looked at them with wide, innocent-looking eyes.
When they heard Ricky's claim, Hyatt and Aaron looked murderous, as they had no doubts that Ricky was lying to them. Their faces were shadowed, as the smiles fell off their faces like they were never there in the first place.
They were starting to realize that there was more to Ricky than what met the eye, and they had made a mistake when they underestimated him.
"Kenney, don't talk nonsense. Give us the flame, or we'll beat you to death. And don't forget that I have your friends in my palace!" Aaron hissed at him, his eyes as sharp as knives.
On the other hand, Hyatt kept his silence but stood a little farther away, ready to assist Aaron.
Indeed, they couldn't kill Ricky right at that moment, but they could hurt him until he was wishing for death.
"I really want to give it to you. But I told you, I can't!" Ricky repeated as if he was in distress.
But truthfully, he wasn't frightened by Aaron's threat, because Pearl and his friends had Evil Mandragora to protect them. Thus, no one could hurt them, unless he was a middle spiritual emperor and stronger than Evil Mandragora.
"Well then, whatever happens from this point on is your fault. Don't think you can lie so easily to us," Aaron said coldly.
Bang! All of a sudden, a cluster of toxic smog burst out and transformed into incomplete ruling power. At the same time, Aaron was enveloped by a phantom of a hissing python, and he flew straight towards Ricky with the python hissing all over his body.
His hands were waggling like snakes, as his fingers shot at Ricky's eyes from tricky angles.
"Snake Claw!"
He shouted ferociously, gnashing his teeth. The cluster of poisonous mist that surrounded his body was spreading everywhere, which made his strikes difficult to dodge.
However, no toxin could affect Ricky.
He only shook his body and activated his inner strength. At once, intense and powerful flames started to spread all over his body. He fused the power of the devouring runes with his cultivated strength, and the momentum suddenly raged all over him and overwhelmed the toxic mist that Aaron used to crush him. With his Golden Spirit Eyes, he was able to easily perceive the tricky attack from different angles.
"Flame Punch! Break it now!"
With a determined look in his eyes, Ricky pushed all his force on his feet and stomped hard on the ground. He fused the power of the chaotic fire runes with the Heaven Melting Fire and balled his fingers in a fist. Just like a hammer with intimidating power, Ricky's punch hit Aaron on his snake-like hands with a satisfying crunch.
Crack! As the Flame Punch collided against the Snake Claw, the sound of bone breaking filled the air. The powerful momentum of both sides reached their limits, just like two intertwined waves that were surging and colliding. In the blink of an eye, everything shattered upon impact, and both Ricky and Aaron retreated several steps.
Several large cracks appeared on the surface of the ground, and it spat roaring magma until the ground around them resembled an inferno.
Meanwhile, Aaron had failed to diffuse the power of Ricky's Flame Punch, and now, his hand was throbbing in pain.
He glared at Ricky with all the hatred that he could manage despite the pain, and it was at this moment that he realized how badly they had misjudged Ricky. Aaron observed him, as he coolly stood a few meters away, with not even a strand of hair out of place. And Aaron thought with despair, that even though he gave his full strength, he could still be defeated by Ricky.
