"John!" Albert parried John's hand quickly, "Calm down. Becca is just upset. Don't blame her. It's all my fault."

Albert gave Becca an apologetic look. Becca hadn't seen him since last night. She had no idea what had happened during the last few hours, but Albert looked haggard.

Becca averted her eyes from him. She loved him for five years. Like Janet said, Becca spent her entire youth with him, despite his shameful behavior.

"Dad." Laura came to hold John's sleeve, "I'm the one who should be punished. It's me who disgraced the Garcias, not Becca. I just thought Becca didn't want the wedding dress anymore, and I loved it so much, so I wanted to try it on. Because everything I got was what she abandoned growing up."
