‘Break off father-daughter relation?’

She was heartbreak as she heard this.

“Are you serious?” Becca frowned.

She was willful and did lots of excessive things. However, what she had done was to make John notice her and to love her as he loved Laura.

‘Even though he beat her, snubbed her, and reviled her, she had never thought of breaking off with him. But now he said he didn't want her as his daughter?’

“I won’t take you as my daughter anymore. Be nice with us and vice versa.” John choked up but still completed what he wanted to say.

“Dad, don’t do that. Even sister had made such a big mistake, you can’t kick her out of our family.” Laura said as if she was begging for her, “Although she has a good boyfriend now, we are still her family….” John looked at Kelly and firmed his thought. He said to Becca, “Leave the Garcia family and never come back.”

“Mr. Garcia….” Kelly was about to explain that he was not Becca’s boyfriend, but Becca raised her hand to stop him.

“Okay.” She answered with efforts to try to hold her tears and tried to keep smiling, “Well, OK, I’ll go.”

“It is you that said breaking off our relations. You’d better not regret it.” she added.

As Flora said that she was not so nice to the Garcia family, even she was deeply hurt, she was reluctant to get off her high horses and said some harsh words to them.

Becca turned and left the room. John looked at her leaving with his eyes red.

Becca strode to the elevator with tears falling. She walked extremely fast in the distance of tens of meters as if she were fleeing.

“Sister,” Laura chased her and called her, “Shall we talk?”

Becca wiped her tears, turned to her, and sneered, “I have no guts to talk to you. Who knows how you are going to frame me this time?”

Laura smiled warmly and nodded to Kelly. Kelly did not respond to her nodding. She was embarrassed for a second but still walked towards them.

“You must be kidding. I was in a hurry that I said something wrong. The moment I woke up, I did clarify the truth. That I come to you now is to apologize to you formally.” Laura said.

“You don’t have to do it. I’m afraid that I don’t have the luck to accept it.” Becca could not believe what she said.

However, Laura was unwilling to let her go and wanted to pull her sleeves. Becca avoided Laura’s pull and walked to the corner, “You don’t have to act like a good guy in front of me. I don’t have an Oscar for you.”

Seeing Kelly’s not following with them, Laura smiled lightly and became unkind.

“Congrats, my sister. You amazed me that you managed to get away from jail. It’s pity that you cannot die in jail.” Laura said with her staring at Becca fiercely.

Becca looked at her and smiled, “That’s true. You are quite mad now. You have lost your child and your mom is injured. Does Albert change his attitude toward you so quickly? It seemed that I didn’t see him in the ward just now. He should be with you right now since you just miscarried, and his mother-in-law is in hospital.”
