Xavier stood in front of the window and held a cigarette in between his fingers. He snuffed out the cigarette forcefully on the windowsill and a ferocious note seeped in his voice. “I’ll say this to all of you right now. If any of you even lay a single hand on her before the end of her wedding ceremony, then that means you’re going against me!”
The other day after he had encountered Veronica, he promised her that he would not ruin her wedding. He promised not to take action during the wedding ceremony and this was the final thing he would do for her.
