Abby’s voice suddenly cut through her thoughts, making Serena jump.

She turned to see Abby grinning from ear to ear.

“It’s the final episode today. Are you ready?”

Serena nodded slightly, still a little out of it.

Abby, on the other hand, looked downright jubilant. She shot a glance at the makeup artist, signaling for her to step outside.

Once the door closed, Abby lowered her voice, practically giddy. “I just spoke with the producers. They said this show’s online popularity is all thanks to you. So, that spot for the international art exchange in Eldoria? It’s yours! Oh, and the higher-ups know Miss Lynwood was Mr. Vance’s pick, but the whole internet can see she’s just a pretty face. You’re the real deal. When you’re on air later, don’t be nervous. Just… try not to make Miss Lynwood look too bad, okay?”

Serena smiled faintly and didn’t reply.

Abby took her silence for agreement and bustled out to get things rolling.

But as soon as the show began, Abby’s smile vanished.

Onstage, Serena seemed like a different person entirely.

With Tobias Hart and Rosa Pike, she’d always kept things polite, even letting them try to answer during the speed round before jumping in herself.

But today? Serena didn’t give Cynthia Lynwood a single chance.

Cynthia, for her part, didn’t have the faintest clue about antiques. At first, during the standard Q&A, she barely scraped by—only managing to answer because the producers had slipped her the questions in advance.
