Serena spent a night at the hospital before finally returning to Rosewood Gardens.
As soon as she stepped inside, she almost bumped into Aaron, who was coming down the stairs.
His eyes were filled with concern, but upon seeing Serena, he froze for a moment before speaking in a cold tone, "Where have you been?"
The accusatory note in his voice made Serena frown with annoyance.
"I'm not obligated to tell you my whereabouts," she replied, turning to head upstairs.
Annoyed, Aaron grabbed her arm. "Serena, I'm your boyfriend. Isn't it normal to let me know where you are?"
Hearing this, Serena laughed, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"So, Mr. Vance, you do know that couples are supposed to share their schedules? Funny, you never thought to share yours with me."
For the past four years, Serena only learned about Aaron's whereabouts through Cynthia Lynwood, including every time he went to Faircrest to see her.
Aaron paused. He wasn't accustomed to reporting his movements to anyone. People usually reported to him. So, he never saw it as an issue. Besides—
"My schedule is always planned in advance. Anyone could find out my whereabouts through Victor."
But when he returned from his meeting and found Serena gone, he thought she was avoiding him again.
Serena pulled away from Aaron. "Mr. Vance, we've broken up. You're not my boyfriend, and I don't need to report to you."
She walked past him without a trace of emotion.
Aaron watched her cold, retreating figure with frustration, ready to follow when a timid voice stopped him.
"Mr. Vance, Miss Sullivan… she just came back from the hospital."
Aaron whipped around, his icy gaze landing on Olivia.
