Came Back as an Heiress After My Ex-Fiancé Made Me Blind novel Chapter 145

Jack didn't bother to dry his hair and walked over with a heavy breath. He saw Victoria, who was bowing her head, looking very serious.

His dangerous eyes narrowed slightly as he reached out his hand.

Victoria was still looking at the document when a fair and slender hand suddenly appeared in her line of sight. It was well-defined and bone-like.

Victoria was taken aback and looked up.

The man motioned for her to come with a hook of his finger. He had probably just taken a shower, as his long and beautiful eyes were misted with a thin layer of water, making them clear and pure. "Give it to me."

"Do you want to see it too?" Victoria sat on the edge of the bed and patted the spot next to her. "Sit down, let's look at it together."

Jack, "..."

He would rather Victoria invite him to do something else together.

Jack didn't sit down. Instead, he took the divorce agreement from her hands, and she finally saw the first page.

Jack asked, "Why are you suddenly looking at this?"

"I want to see the terms on it. I didn't look carefully before," Victoria replied.

When they signed the divorce agreement, she only glanced at it briefly before signing.

She had a kind of unreasonable trust in Jack, believing that he wouldn't hurt her, so she just glanced at it and signed.

Although they had only reunited for less than a day at that time and said that they couldn't get along, she didn't know why she had this inexplicable trust in Jack.

"Looking at the terms?" Jack asked with a hint of ambiguity.

Victoria nodded. "Yes."

Jack looked at her with a smile that was not a smile, flipped through two pages, and then handed it back to her. His slender and pale fingertips lightly tapped on the middle of the paper. "Look at this one, carefully."

He said it so seriously that Victoria immediately looked at it attentively.

After seeing what it was, her mouth twitched.

It was actually the clause that required them to fulfill their marital duties.

He was really something.

When Victoria saw this clause when she signed the divorce agreement, she didn't think much about it and didn't know its deeper meaning.

Victoria coughed lightly and pretended to calmly retract her gaze. She opened the drawer of the bedside table and stuffed the divorce agreement inside.

"I'm tired and don't want to read anymore. I want to sleep."

After saying that, she lay down, but Jack grabbed her wrist.

"What are you doing?" Victoria looked at him warily.

The man's eyebrows and eyes were smiling, sexy and teasing. "Since you've seen it, shouldn't you fulfill your marital duties?"

Victoria immediately glared at him.

He still held onto her, his fingertips gently caressing the delicate and white skin on her wrist. "I'm not asking for anything else, just help me dry my hair. Isn't that too much?"

Victoria suddenly felt a tremor on her skin. The place where the man held her wrist was pressing against her skin, giving off a tingling and burning sensation.

Victoria's fingertips unconsciously curled up. "Can't you do it yourself? Besides, you're too tall. If I have to dry your hair, I'll have to hold my hand up the whole time. It's too tiring."

"Then I'll sit down and not tire you, Victoria."

Victoria, "..."

The man's pitch-black eyes stared at her, as if as long as she didn't agree, he would keep holding onto her wrist.

His gaze was particularly captivating, especially when he focused on someone. His pupils were like deep whirlpools, enticing people to willingly indulge in them.
