[Darling, long time no see.]
Upon seeing this message, Victoria's face wrinkled in annoyance. She had no mood for the ambiguous term of endearment "darling" and only felt a headache and exhaustion.
There was no name saved for this message; it was sent from an unknown number.
But Victoria knew who it was from.
Who else would call her like this besides that jerk surnamed Smith?
Victoria's first reaction was to ignore it, pretending she hadn't seen it.
She thought about blocking the number, but it would be useless. Even if she blocked that jerk, he would always find a way to contact her.
After thinking for a few seconds, Victoria decided to cut to the chase and bring up the fact that she was married.
Expressionless, she typed, [Mr. Smith, I am already married.]
The reply came quickly, [Tsk, darling, you finally decided to acknowledge me?]
Victoria, "..."
Is that the point?
Firmly, Victoria typed, [I said I am already married!]
The other person didn't seem surprised and replied calmly, [I know, to Jack Moore.]
Victoria was taken aback, [You investigated me?]
She and Jack had a secret marriage that they hadn't announced to the public. It was impossible for ordinary people to know about their marriage unless they intentionally investigated.
How much information did this jerk investigate about her?
The other person seemed to know what she was thinking and replied with a hint of sarcasm, [Tsk, cursing me in your heart again?]
Victoria, "..."
The other person sent another message, [Go ahead and curse, I quite like hearing you curse at me.]
Victoria, "..."
This person is sick!
Just as sick as before!
Victoria typed fiercely, [I am already married, so stop calling me and bothering me!]
The man replied nonchalantly, [So what if you're married? I don't mind being the third party.]
Victoria, "???"
Your grandpa for being the third party!
This lunatic, who asked you to be the third party?
Victoria had never encountered such a request before. She took a deep breath several times to suppress the urge to curse, regretting replying to him earlier!
Regret!
Righteous anger filled her, and her phone beeped with another message.
Thinking it was from that jerk again, she looked at it unhappily. But when she saw it, it was a message from Jack.
The anger in Victoria's heart instantly dissipated by a large portion.
Jack, [Have you landed?]
Victoria happily typed, [Just landed, heading to the hotel soon.]
Jack, [Send me a message when you arrive at the hotel.]
Victoria, [Okay, got it.]
Just as she sent the message, her colleague, Travis, squinted his eyes and asked, "Victoria, you're sending messages as soon as you land. Do you have that much to talk about?"
Victoria was used to bantering with him and retorted, "I have someone who cares about me. Unlike you, no one sends you messages. How lonely!"
Travis didn't back down and smirked arrogantly, "Who says no one messages me!"
Victoria raised an eyebrow, gossiping, "Is it Miss Natasha? What's going on between you two?"
Travis's face froze at the mention of Natasha. He glared back, not wanting to mention Natasha at all, and said in a low voice, "Victoria, stop gossiping."
