Ralph called Victoria before bringing Michael over.
After knocking on the door and entering the room, Victoria glanced at the cold and aloof Michael before shifting her gaze back to Ralph. "Is there something going on this late?"
Considering their familiarity and ease of communication, Victoria was closer to Ralph.
Seeing her reaction, Michael furrowed his brows almost imperceptibly.
Was he too indifferent and scared her off?
He should have come earlier and introduced himself to Victoria.
Now, Ralph had taken the advantage.
Ralph was extremely pleased that he had finally developed some feelings with Victoria during this period of time.
He had always said that Michael was always cold, who would like him?
The corners of Ralph's eyes curled up with a faint smile. "Victoria, do you remember when I told you before that you reminded me of my lost little sister from childhood?"
Victoria thought for a moment and nodded. "I remember."
"It's not just me who feels this way, Michael also has this strange feeling." Ralph brought up Michael, the ice-cold statue.
Victoria glanced at Michael and pursed her lips. "But I'm definitely not your sister. I have done three DNA tests with the Montgomery family before, and each time it showed a blood relationship. I am indeed a member of the Montgomery family."
Ralph fell silent for two seconds, his Dempsey's apple lightly rolling as he spoke seriously. "Victoria, what I'm about to say next might be a bit abrupt, but I want to apologize in advance."
Victoria was taken aback and immediately spoke up. "Go ahead."
Ralph hooked his lips, his smile tinged with a hint of loneliness.
"We have been searching for our lost sister from childhood, as well as our parents. We have been hoping to find her as soon as possible, even if it's just someone who bears a slight resemblance to her. Unfortunately, every time, we return disappointed. But even so, we have never given up for a moment."
"Now... Victoria, I boldly request that you do a DNA test with us to obtain a definitive result."
Victoria's eyes widened slightly, a hint of astonishment filling them.
A DNA test?
It sounded strange at first, but Ralph was so sincere and earnest in his desire to find his lost sister from childhood.
Victoria pondered for a moment. Actually, it wouldn't hurt to do the test. If it could provide a definite result, then they wouldn't have to worry anymore.
"Alright, let's do it," she agreed.
"Victoria, you agreed?" Ralph's eyes overflowed with surprise, like a bright beam of light breaking through the clouds and mist.
"Yes, I agree. But..." Victoria's tone suddenly turned serious as she put on a stern face. "We need to go to a reputable hospital to do it. That way, the test results will be convincing."
Ralph couldn't help but smile at her cautious and adorable expression. "Alright, when are you available to go to the hospital?"
Victoria felt that it would be better to resolve this matter as soon as possible, so she wouldn't have to keep worrying about it.
She had originally planned to take the flight back to her home country tomorrow, but she could postpone it for a day.
"Let's go to the hospital tomorrow," Victoria suggested.
"Okay," Ralph agreed.
Upon hearing that Victoria agreed to do a DNA test with the Preston family, Carl was taken aback.
Could Victoria be related to the Preston family?
Curiosity surged in Carl's heart, prompting her to postpone her return to her home country by a day.
The next morning, at the hospital.
