Seeing the girl who had been in a coma for two months finally open her eyes, Ralph momentarily thought he was seeing an illusion.
It wasn't until he saw her eyes move that he realized it wasn't an illusion, it was real.
Victoria really woke up!
His sister finally woke up!!
Ralph's eyes were burning, and he was so excited that he couldn't control himself. The glass of water in his hand fell off and shattered.
He had never been so out of control before.
He quickly called out to his parents and older brother loudly.
Mason, Alicia, and Michael were listening to some precautions from Wayne.
Hearing Ralph shout "Victoria is awake", there was a moment of pause, as if not daring to believe it, then, in a panic, they rushed to the bedside one after another.
"Victoria..." Alicia ran over in a panic and saw her daughter finally awake. The tip of her nose felt sore, and tears seemed to burst, flowing uncontrollably."
"Victoria... Mom is dreaming, right... You finally woke up..."
Alicia rushed over wanting to hug Victoria, but afraid of hurting her with her impulsive actions, like facing a precious fragile porcelain doll, wanting to touch but not daring to.
"Victoria, can you hear dad talking? How do you feel now? Is there any discomfort?"
Mason asked several questions in a trembling voice, his eyes reddening.
Michael and Ralph surrounded the other side of the hospital bed, their eyes fixed on the girl, not wanting to miss the slightest change in her expression.
"Victoria, is there anywhere uncomfortable? Do you want some water?"
"Victoria, I'm your big brother, can you hear me?"
Wayne walked over excitedly and burst into tears when he saw Victoria awake. His little idol had finally woken up!
If she hadn't woken up, he would have followed!
Victoria slowly rolled her eyes and looked at the group of people in front of the hospital bed.
Finally, her gaze landed on Alicia's face.
Seeing Alicia continuously shedding tears, Victoria opened her mouth, her throat dry and tight, as if she hadn't spoken in a long time, only able to make weak sounds.
Her throat moved a little, and after a couple of attempts, she squeezed out a hoarse tone from her vocal cords.
"Mom... Mom, don't cry..."
She wanted to reach out to wipe away Alicia's tears, but her arm felt stiff as if it wasn't her own, it took a lot of effort to lift it halfway.
Seeing this, Alicia quickly held her daughter's hand, moved cautiously, and gently helped her up, letting her sit on the head of the bed.
After seeing the settings in the room, Victoria realized that this was a hospital ward.
No wonder when she opened her eyes, she saw a white ceiling.
"Victoria, how are you feeling? Is there anywhere uncomfortable?" Ralph poured a glass of water and raised it to Victoria's lips, "Do you want some water?"
Victoria's throat was dry, so she took small sips of water from the edge of her lips.
She didn't drink the water quickly.
Ralph held the glass of water steadily and patiently, afraid of spilling a little on his sister.
Finally quenching her thirst, Victoria shook her head slowly, indicating she didn't need it anymore, the dry and pale lips touched by sparkling water droplets, finally didn't look so dry.
Mason hurriedly said, Dr. Turner, please quickly check on Victoria and see how her body is."
Wayne hurried over, "Okay, I'll take a look!"
A breeze blew in from the window, Michael carefully walked over and closed the window a bit smaller, worried that Victoria had just woken up, her body was weak, and she might catch a cold again.
While Wayne was examining her body, Victoria's thoughts slowly shifted.
She remembered the family reunion banquet held before, after the banquet ended when she was talking to Jack, her dizziness recurred, and then she fainted without any warning, unaware of anything.
