Three days later.
In Huo’s house-
She should be in hospital for a week.
But she doesn’t like hospital,
So after in hospital for two days, she asked to come back.
Huo had no choice but agreed.
But the doctor came to see her everyday recently.
Today, the doctor came here a little earlier. After they finished the treatment, it’s just the time for meal.
Linda Yun got out of bed.
Yesterday, her whole day’s food was delivered by Mrs Zhang.
But she didn’t like this feeling of being served which would make her feel like a loser.
She went downstairs in a thick coat.
In the dining room, David Huo, Qu Zhirong and Mary Yun were having lunch on the table.
Mary Yun’s giggles came out from time to time.
Today was Friday. Jennifer Huo was still at school. She would come back in the afternoon.
And... Michael Huo, she wouldn’t care.
"Miss Yun, how did you get down?" A maid came to her in a hurry.
Her voice let those people who was eating look back.
"No, thanks." Linda Yun nodded to her to show her gratitude.
Then, she went to the dining room.
Qu Zhirong and Mary Yun were frozen.
"Nian, you are coming. Sit here, sit here." David Huo seemed more hospitable.
Linda Yun came to him with a smile. The servant immediately pulled out the chair. Then, she sat.
"Mrs. Zhang, prepare one more cutlery!" said Huo.He looked at Linda Yun, "are you feeling better?"
Linda Yun was ready to answer it, but at that moment the busy Mrs. Zhang brought the cutlery to them.
She was surprised to see Linda Yun, "Miss Yun, how... how did you get down? I... I was cooking for you and I’ll send it to you immediately."
Mary Yun couldn’t help chuckling.
"Mrs. Zhang, take her up. And send food up too." said Qu.
"Let’s go up. I’ll send food to you right away." said Zhang, and she’s going to help her up.
"Enough! She has got down already. Let’s eat together." Huo waved his hand and showed that she did not have to send it up alone.
Mrs. Zhang looked at Qu Zhirong awkwardly. And she didn’t know what to do next.
"We can’t eat together! Don’t you feel unlucky?" Qu Zhirong sneered.
"What are you talking about?" David Huo frowned.
"Nian, are you feeling better?" Mary Yun asked her.
Linda Yun picked the chopsticks up and ignored her.
"Nian, don’t be sad. I’m so sorry to hear about that. I believe you have the chance to have kids in the future. I’ve asked the doctor. He said although it is hard but you still have chances. Am I right?" she added in time, "don’t worry about it. You can still have test-tube babies."
Linda Yun gave her a sneer.
Difficult to have babies!
Test-tube babies?
You were so sweet!
"Thank for your concern. I will try hard with my husband!" She smiled brightly, "we are still young. We have enough time to do that. Right?"
Mary Yun was angry but she had to smile back.
"You’ve done many bad things before, so God punished you this time! Be a good woman or you will be killed by God."
David Huo frowned, "is that a mother-in-law should say?"
Qu sneered, "I am not her mother-in-law! And I have said that my daughter-in-law is Mary."
Then, she held Mary’s hand, "you are too kind."
"Mummy..." Mary Yun called her timidly and then she looked at Linda Yun in a panic, "auntie, don’t scold Nian. She didn’t mean it..."
Qu saw her expression and frowned, "don’t call me auntie. Call me mummy! I’ve said many times."
"But, but now Nian and Tingchen are... I’m afraid I have no chance to be your daughter-in-law." Mary Yun said and hung down her head.
Then, she almost burst into tears.
Seeing her like that, Qu Zhirong couldn’t help feeling sorrier for her.
"Who told you that! I will ask him divorce Linda Yun in a couple of days. How can Huo family marry a woman who can’t bear kids?" Qu Zhirong galred at Linda Yun discontentedly.
