Christopher was stunned for three seconds. Suddenly he rushed over and grabbed my pillow and comforter. "You have made up your mind, haven't you?" he asked me coldly.
I shrugged indifferently and asked, "Or what?"
Christopher, in a fit of rage, threw the pillow and quilt back on the sofa. "Alright then. I'll sleep on the sofa tonight. Go back to your bedroom!"
I gave him a look and didn't want to talk to him, so I turned right back to the bedroom and said, "By the way, I'll go to work tomorrow!"
What can I even do if Vincent had asked me to work? I can only agreed. Since my mind is made up, I should at least inform Christopher.
Christopher was stunned to hear this. Suddenly he said coldly, "Sure, but you'll have find a position for Naomi!"
When I heard that, I was a little annoyed. What did he mean by that? He locked me up at night and even wanna keep an eye on me during the day?
"What do you mean? Get Naomi to keep an eye on me?" I turned around and yelled at Christopher.
Christopher grinned in face of my loud questioning. Under the dim light, he looked utterly terrifying. "That's right. I'll let her monitor you. So what?"
"You can't control us. We can have sex whenever we want. Can you even control that?"
At first I didn't want to say this nonsense, but Christopher's attitude really made me angry. I did not even know I could forgive myself for humiliating myself!
Christopher grinned. An expression of contempt flashed in his eyes. "I can't, but he should pay me after touching my woman, shouldn't he?"
"You are so shameless!" I was annoyed at Christopher's words, but I didn't how to diss him back. I just turned back to my bedroom. "I do not have Naomi's profile right now. Let us talk about it in a few days!"
But just as I entered the bedroom, Christopher came in with a briefcase in his hand. "What a coincidence, I have a copy here. Turn it in to the company's personnel department tomorrow!"
With that, in a fit of rage, he threw the file on the bed beside me. I turned to look at him and said angrily, "The company isn't recruiting now!"
Christopher grinned and said, "That depends on how important you are in Vincent's heart. If he cares about you, he will help you with such a small favour!"
I was so angry that I threw the file at him. However, he didn't take it. He threw the bag on the ground and said, "Vincent is not fool. If you send Naomi to his company right now, wouldn't he know your intention?"
Christopher lowered his head and looked at the file that had fallen to the floor. He stooped, picked it up, and threw it to my bed. At the same time he laughed wickedly, "That depends on how you say it. Just say it's your idea!"
Midway through, I stealthily went to the personal department and asked the supervisor Haley, "Haley, is our company still recruiting now?"
I asked just because the company hired people a few days ago. Looking at me, Haley was confused, "What, you have someone suitable?"
I laughed dryly and handed her Naomi's information, "This is the information of my friend's sister. Can you have a look?"
Haley smiled and took it. She didn't say whether she would see it or not. From her calm attitude, I knew she wouldn't. In order to make Naomi join the company, I deliberately whispered to her, "My friend is a friend of Mr. Johnson. You can take a look at the information here. I think this girl is really not bad!"
When Haley heard that this girl may know Vincent well, her attitude immediately changed. She then smiled. "Okay, I see. I'll check later to see if there's a suitable place for her!"
Haley was in charge of recruiting and downsizing staffs. Her words just now showed that the possibility was great. I said something polite to her and then left.
Originally, I thought it would be easier for Naomi to be hired if I said she was Vincent's friend. But I didn't expect Haley to be so reticent. After I left, she turned to find Vincent.
Maybe it was because what I said, "My friend is a friend of the Johnson's family." So, To be safe, Haley went for Vincent to asked him which position she should arrange for Naomi."
