Chapter 415 

Sean was panting as he rushed back to Alyssa’s place, the chilly fall air clinging to him. His forehead glistened with sweat. 

Alyssa didn’t immediately ask him about the outcome; instead, she strode to the coffee table and poured him a glass of warm water. 

She handed the glass over to him and said, “Take a rest first and have some warm water. It’s cold 

outside, isn’t it?” 

As Sean took the glass, the tips of his chilly fingers brushed against Alyssa’s. It felt warm, and his heart skipped a beat. 

“Have a seat and relax.” 

Alyssa turned and sat on the couch. She had her legs crossed beneath her nightgown and her peach- colored velvet slippers perched on the tips of her toes. 

Sean’s face was slightly flushed as he held the glass awkwardly in his hands. 

He took a moment to regulate his breathing before speaking, “Ms. Alyssa, everything turned out just as you expected. Bryan and Abigail knew each other, and they’re much more than just friends!” 

Alyssa smiled. “Even if I knew what’s going on, things could only be done with your help, right?” 

Sean handed his phone to her as he smiled shyly. 

She took the phone and lowered her head, scrolling through the pictures with a reserved expression. 

The pictures showed Bryan and Abigail on a date at a café. Bryan was caressing Abigail’s face, their hands intertwined. They gazed at each other lovingly, deeply immersed in their own world. 

“Ms. Alyssa, this is solid proof! We can question Bryan now!” Sean was brimming with excitement, convinced they had a strong lead. 

“This is far from enough.” Alyssa put down the phone calmly. 

“Is this not enough?” Sean widened his eyes. 

He continued, “I’ve got my hands on their hotel room reservation records for the past two months, which showed that they met at least twice in one week. They’ve been in close contact. 

“And before these two months, there wasn’t a single interaction between them! Isn’t this enough to prove 

Dean was the snitch?” 

‘It is, but the evidence isn’t enough. You studied law. You should know that this is circumstantial evidence. It’s insufficient to convict Bryan.” 

Alyssa closed her eyes as she stretched out on the couch. “What if he claims they’re just a regular couple? What can you do about it?” 

Finally, Sean grasped Alyssa’s intentions. 

She wasn’t just interested in uncovering the betrayer’s identity. She was determined to eliminate any potential threats. 

She intended to make both the mastermind and the accomplices pay dearly for their actions! 

With a grim expression, Sean remarked, “Then we’ll have to find evidence that he leaked confidential 

information.” 

“Bryan couldn’t resist leaking the information to Abigail as soon as I mentioned I had devised a new plan during the meeting. I can already anticipate his next moves. 

“You don’t have to tail Bryan for now. Assign someone to shadow Abigail and Betty. Monitor their 

interactions. 

“Also, dig a bit deeper into Abigail’s background. Who knows, we might uncover some other surprises..
