"I have moved on," Alyssa replied without thinking and hugged Rose back.

She continued, "If I don't move forward after the divorce, what does that say about me? For 13 years, I didn't treat myself right because of him. But now that I've left him, I won't make the same mistake again. It's time to focus on the future."

"Oh, my love life is a complete mess. I can't even bear to recount it," Alyssa replied with a smile and lifted her chin. "And you, Rose? You're always swooning over attractive men. Any new romances to share?"

Rose scoffed, "What romance can I have? I spend my days designing clothes. I suppose I'm dedicating my life to my work.

"Hot guys are cool, but they're nothing more than eye candy. The models and idols that I was interested in didn't last a few days of dating. They started asking for luxury watches or sports cars. I might be thirsty, but I'm not naive!"

Alyssa guffawed at Rose's remark and chimed in, "Looks like you and I both attract the wrong kind of men! Don't worry, Rose. I won't let you walk down my path. If you want to date, I'll introduce a few guys to you."

"A few guys? I thought you were busy. How did you meet them?"

"Oh, I have plenty of connections by birthright," Alyssa quipped, patting her chest proudly. "My brothers—Jonah, Silas, Liam, Axel, and Cyrus—are all still single. I'll prepare their résumés for you. If any of them catches your interest, I'll set up a date."

Rose was dumbfounded by Alyssa's offer and joked, "With the way you rattled off your brothers' names, people might think you're introducing male escorts to me."
