Chapter 2741
“Dude, I’m afraid of you. Get out of my way, and I’ll take a detour.” Because the driver was terrified that he was a lunatic, he backed up the car, quickly turned the steering wheel, and fled.
The passing car owner glanced at Chester as he stood in the traffic of people coming and going.
They all thought he was insane, and no one dared to provoke him.
Chester continued walking forward after leaving the road. He was too tired to answer the phone when it rang.
His slippers were torn as he walked until he was exhausted, and the phone rang again as he sat in a chair by the roadside.
He pulled it out, and it was a message from the Dean.
After more than ten seconds of listening to the phone ring, Chester pressed the answer button, “President…”
“You finally answered the phone, Mr. Jewell. There is an operation at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the family has signed, you should come over to prepare.” The dean was dying of anxiety.
Chester looked down at his empty right hand and continued shaking after leaving Neeson Corporation. He said, “I can’t do it anymore.”
“What?” The dean nearly went insane. “Only you stand a good chance of succeeding in that operation. The family members have gathered here to greet you as a savior.”
“Savior?”
“Is that right, I’m just a cold and ruthless executioner.” Chester said bitterly.
“What the h-e-l-l are you talking about?” The dean didn’t understand a single word.
“It’s not so much that I don’t want to move as it is that my hand… Something isn’t right. If I were to perform this operation, there might not be a ten percent chance.” Chester said softly.
“Is what you said true?” Dean almost puked blood.
“I’m not going to make fun of this.” Chester’s voice sounded hollow.
