Chapter 125
‘What? I couldn’t have heard that right, she wondered. Sienna stood frozen, as though someone had paralyzed her, unable to move a muscle or even form an expression.
She was so stunned, she couldn’t believe it.
“You… what did you say?” she hesitated.
“What’s wrong?” Brenda chuckled lightly. “You don’t understand me?”
Brenda shook her head. “You only get one shot at this. Or do you prefer pursuing a career in entertainment rather than coming back to dance?”
“I would prefer to,” Sienna said, her voice filled with excitement. Her face flushed red, and she stumbled over her words.
“No, no, Ms. Scott, I mean, I do want to come back to dance. I want to dance with you,” she repeated.
Her thoughts were finally starting to clear. Overcome with emotion, her eyelashes glistened with a tear or two.
“Ms. Scott, I’m sorry. I’m just so happy,” she said.
Sienna couldn’t even have imagined, in her wildest dreams, that she’d get another chance to return to the dance studio, especially with Brenda personally coming to find her.
“Thank you, Ms. Scott. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity,” she repeated.
It was clear she was genuinely overjoyed. Sienna had made mistakes, but there was no denying her talent for dancing, and her true passion for it. In today’s world, few people in the entertainment industry would willingly choose the dance studio over fame and fortune.
The glitz of the entertainment world is tempting, and not everyone can resist the allure of wealth and recognition.
Brenda nodded, satisfied. “You don’t have to thank me.”
‘If you really want to thank someone, you should thank Mr. Flynn,‘ She thought, but she kept it to herself. Josiah had asked her to stay quiet about it.
As for why Josiah wanted to help without taking credit? That wasn’t for Brenda to figure out.
“Alright, I’m off.” Brenda stood up. “We’ll finish the shoot tonight and tomorrow, you’ll report to the dance studio.”
“Yes, Ms. Scott. Safe travels,” said Sienna.
After Brenda left, Sienna’s heart was still soaring. She immediately went to find Derek.
“Derek, I’m sorry. I think I’m just not cut out for the entertainment industry. After finishing today’s shoot, I won’t be coming back,” she said.
“So, this is your final decision?” Derek was confused. ‘Why is she turning this down?” he wondered.
“Yes, sorry, Derek. I’ve thought it through, and I’m just better suited for dancing,” Sienna explained.
Sienna spoke honestly. “I’m going back to the dance studio.”
Derek realized what was happening. Surprised, but not opposed he smiled and didn’t push her further. “Alright, I get it. Just make sure to finish the scene well tonight.”

“Don’t worry.” Sienna was deeply grateful to Derek. “Even if I’m not in this circle anymore, I’ll never forget the help you gave me.”
Derek smiled back. “Same here. I’ll always remember you as a friend. I’ll be cheering you on for your first stage performance.”
“Thank you.” Sienna shook his hand seriously. “Thank you, Derek
The night’s shoot went smoothly. After removing her makeup, Sienna received a video call request from William.
Every now and then, Joyce would ask him or Hannah to make video calls at this hour.
Sienna pressed the button to answer, and Joyce’s chubby little face immediately appeared on the screen
“Mommy,” she said.
“Huh? Joyce?” said Sienna.
“Mommy, I miss you. When are you coming home?” Joyce said.
Sienna felt a pang in her heart. Of course, she missed her daughter, but she had to establish herself at feiacrity. Once Joyce returned, they could have a stable life together.
For now, the separation was inevitable.
“Joyce, I need to talk to Mr. Thompson about it first. Once we figure it out, I’ll tell you, okay?” Sienna said.
“Okay!” Joyce obediently handed the phone over to William. “Mr. Thompson, here you go.”
“Thank you, Joyce.” The camera switched to show William.
