It wasn't quite 4 p.m. yet, but many guests had already arrived.
Sienna had arrived early. Derek and Charles hadn't arrived yet, so she found a corner and waited quietly for them. She held a glass of water and took occasional sips.
"Sienna," someone greeted her unexpectedly.
Sienna looked up to see Chelsea, a former student from the dance class she had taught at the TV station.
Chelsea seemed delighted to see her. "It's really you! I thought I had mistaken you for someone else," she said.
Sienna smiled and greeted indifferently, "Hello, long time no see."
Chelsea wasn't easy to deal with, so Sienna thought it was better to avoid her.
"Long time no see," Chelsea replied. She raised an eyebrow and asked curiously, "Why are you alone? Didn't you come with Josiah?"
Sienna was surprised. 'Josiah is here, too?' she wondered.
Chelsea noticed Sienna's expression and guessed, "Oh, you didn't know he was coming, did you? You two arrived separately? Don't tell me..."
Chelsea's eyes widened in mock surprise as she continued, "Did you two break up?"
Although they had made a high-profile announcement of their relationship not long ago, breakups were common, especially in wealthy families where temptation and choices abounded.
Under her intense stare, Sienna nodded and replied, "Yes, we broke up."
Chelsea clapped her hands in delight and said, "Haha! Great! I knew it! I knew you two wouldn't last."
Unable to contain her excitement, she continued, "I'll go find Josiah right now."
She hurried off but turned back after a couple of steps, smiling smugly. She said, "Thank you, Sienna."
'Thank me?' Sienna thought. She was momentarily stunned before chuckling to herself.
Her phone rang. It was Derek. She quickly answered, "Hello, Mr. Pittman."
"Sienna, Mr. Carter and I have arrived," Derek said.
"Alright, I'll come over now," Sienna replied. Ending the call, she immediately went to meet Derek and Charles.
"Sienna, over here," Charles said.
Charles took the lead, introducing Sienna to Tobias, "Tobias, this is Sienna, whom I mentioned to you. Sienna, say hello."
"Hello, Mr. Yowell," Sienna greeted and bowed slightly, composed and dignified.
"Hello," Tobias greeted back, nodding with a smile. He continued, "You look even more beautiful in person than in the photos and videos."
Derek had already shown Tobias Sienna's profile. Tobias agreed to meet Sienna in person because he was satisfied with her credentials.
"You flatter me," Sienna responded.
Charles suggested, "It's a bit crowded here. How about we move there for a proper chat?"
"Sounds good," Tobias agreed.
"This way, please," Sienna said.
After a round of introductions, Tobias seemed pleased with Sienna.
"Sienna, go get some rest first," Charles said.
"Alright, Mr. Carter, Mr. Pittman, Mr. Yowell, take your time," Sienna replied.
They had business to discuss, so Sienna tactfully left. 'There is nothing more for me to do here. I could leave after staying a little longer,' Sienna thought.
