Flynn ! Toast ! Toast someone shouted enthusiastically , their voice brimming with excitement .

The crowd followed suit , their cheers echoing through the lively room .

Yet , after a while , someone noticed an awkward truth

“ Wait , where’s Mr.

Flynn ! ” a guest asked , puzzled

“ Yeah , where is he ? I don’t see him anywhere ” another chimed in , craning their neck to search the room

It was only then that the crowd realized the main attraction of the evening – Mr .

Flynn – was nowhere to be found .

Josiah be the star of the right if he isn’t even here ?

Whiter someone teased , raising an eyebrow .

you trying to trick us ? another guest added , their tone skeptical

Henry White , the manager , hurried to calm the room , waving his hands nervously .

Flynn couldn’t make it tonight , but he left us a message .”

Henry hesitated , a cold sweat forming on his brow .

He couldn’t possibly reveal the secret agreement an arrangement ensuring Mr.

Flynn’s perpetual position as the top bidder , secured by 100 thousand dollars .

If he let that slip , he’d risk offending the other guests .

The Flynn family may be powerful , Henry thought anxiously , but these people arent to be trifled with either

“ What messige ? ” soncone pressed , suspicion creeping into their voice .

Such an explanation clearly lacked persuasiveness .

White , How can someone bid if they’re not even here ? ” another voice prodded .

Someone asked , “ Isn’t the rule at Maze that you have to be present for it to count ? ”

The comment struck a nerve , sparking a wave of agreement .

“ That’s right I Absolutely ! ” Among the most vocal was Adrian , the CEO of the Grandeur Group who had been second to Josiah in tonight’s bidding .

Over the past few weeks , Adrian had spent a fortune supporting 5 and naturally assumed he

would take the top spot tonight

However , Mr.

White had suddenly announced that Mr.

Flynn had won .

Initially .

Adrian hadn’t dared to challenge the decision – until now .

White , Adrian said , stepping forward with a sly smile .

“ If everyone here agrees , shouldn’t the rules be followed fairly ? ”

Mr.

White froze , his heart pounding .

Sweat trickled down his temples , betraying his panic .

How could this be happening ? he thought , utterly dismayed .

I invoked Mr.

Flynn’s name , and they still don’t believe me !

Meanwhile , Josiah leaned back in his car , exhausted after a long day .

As the vehicle slowed to a stop , he gazed our the window , his dark eyes narrowing thoughtfully .

“ Zaid he called out to his driver

“ Yes , Mr.

Flynn ? ” Zaid replied respectfully .

Josiah opened the car door and gestured for him to leave .

I’ve got something to take care of .

I’ll drive myself .

Go ahead and grab a cab .”

“ Huh ? ” Zaid blinked , startled .

“ Mr.

Flynn , where are you going ? Let me take you there !!

There’s no need ,” Josiah said firmly , shaking his head .

Without another word , he slid into the driver’s seat and drove off , leaving a bewildered Zaid behind .

At the next intersection , Josiah made a sharp left turn – a direction that didn’t lead to the Silver Beach .

Where is Mr.

Flynn going ? Zaid wondered .
