Chapter 29 He Appears Very Unexpectedly
The pain did not appear. The horse hissed harshly after it fell to the ground, mixed with Joye's and Claudia's screams.
Tina was scared, and her eyes looked not far away, glazed and stiff.
The man coolly put away his bird-fighting spear, casually threw it back into the leather bag hanging around the horse's neck, and pulled the reins of the horse with one hand. The horse walked forward leisurely.
A shy girl was sitting in front of him. She was Caitlyn, chosen by Tina.
Tina's heart was pounding, and her skin was emitting hot air. When she thought of the situation just now, her legs were weak again because of fear.
Samuel led the crowd to approach slowly. In addition to Caitlyn, there was also Jonathan and the young master of the Lawson family Tina had met before.
All of them were riding horses, dressed in cool riding clothes. The men were handsome as if they were shooting tendy dramas.
Samson, dressed in white riding clothes and gentle in temperament, got off the horse before he came to Tina and trotted all the way.
"Are you alright?"
Samson extended his hand to Tina and nodded at the two scared girls on the side.
Tina smiled and struggled to get up before Samson approached.
However, Tina's legs were really weak. She wobbled before she stood firm.
Samson hurriedly helped Tina. "Be careful."
"Thank you." Tina stepped back and avoided contact with Samson.
Just as soon as she looked up, Samson raised his eyebrow slightly. "Tina?"
Samson and Tina had met before. After all, Tina had worked for Samuel for five years. It was normal to recognize Tina at a glance.
Samson looked pondering. He turned to look at Samuel and Jonathan who were still on the horses. Samuel looked cold, and Jonathan smiled.
Samson smiled and realized the situation.
"I'm sorry to have scared you and your friends. I'll send you back."
Samson said it too politely. Claudia and Joye looked at each other besides him, and could not help wondering about Tina's identity.
The atmosphere was embarrassing, and there was a sound of hooves not far away, which clearly showed that the horse rushed back.
Walter and the others went after the horses and felt uneasy halfway, so they left the ladies and came back to Tina and the others.
When Joye saw Arden, she immediately cried bitterly and made the scene very tense and embarrassing.
As soon as Walter got off the horse, he came to Tina and took her by the arm near him with a tense tone.
The atmosphere was stiff.
Samuel played with the reins in his hand. He looked at Walter with his sharp eyes and asked with his thin lips, "You compensate for her?"
"He is Tina's boyfriend." Leonardo came up with a smiling face, patted Walter on the shoulder, and said to Samuel, "Don't mind him, Mr. Langford. He only cares about Tina but not the horse at the moment."
Tina's face temperature soared. She opened her mouth but could not speak. Her mind turned quickly. She didn't want people to misunderstand her relationship with Walter. However, in this state, the explanation was a little artificial and would hurt Walter's dignity.
She turned her back to Samuel and kept silent as if she acquiesced it.
Samuel sneered, lowered his head slightly, and asked Caitlyn in his arms.
"Do you want two more laps?"
Caitlyn did not expect Samuel suddenly asked her. Being watched by the crowd, she could not help blushing and nodded gently.
Samuel pulled the reins and glanced at Jonathan and Samson.
"I'll take her for two laps. Do whatever you guys want."
After that, Samuel pulled the reins and left the crowd, as if all set for a showdown just now had never appeared.
Tina didn't look up, but there was a layer of sweat on her back and a buzzing sound in her ears. She didn't come back to her mind until Walter called her.
