Chapter 119
Tessa said nothing but going to throw the cookies into the trash bin.
But then, she had a second thought.
No, wouldn’t it be a pity to throw them away like this?
She had to do something with this plate of cookies.
Half an hour later, someone knocked on the door of Bryan’s study again.
Then, Tessa walked in with the plate of cookies in her hands. “Bryan, this is what Finley gave me to compensate my cookies she ate. Why don’t you have a try?”
Tessa put the plate of cookies on Bryan’s desk anxiously.
Hearing that it was made by Finley, Bryan raised his eyes slightly and glanced at the ugly cookies on the plate.
Judging from how the things looked, he could tell that they were made by Finley. It couldn’t be
wrong.
“If
you don’t like them, I’ll just throw them away and make you new ones.” Tessa reached out and picked up the plate of pastries.
“Put it down and go out.” Bryan continued to deal with the document in his hand.
The afternoon sunshine poured a halo around his well-defined profile, outlining his tall and handsome figure.
Tessa stood there, composed and unable to look away.
“Why are you not leaving?” Bryan glared at her.
Tessa left immediately. “Bryan, I’m leaving. I’m leaving now.”
Finley was in her room as Allison had asked her to play some games.
All of a sudden, someone knocked on her door, and the thumping sound was so urgent.
She put down her phone, “Wait for me,” then took off her headset, going to open the door.
