Chapter 253
“You misunderstood me. I am still a student and have a lot of homework to do. Moreover, my part
isn’t the leading role, so I don’t think it necessary to stay here for free lunch.”
Finley deliberately said so.
Finley followed Rita on Facebook and saw her posts and selfies.
Rita’s posts were of the same style. “It is a busy day again.”
“Film shooting is tiring, not so easy as I thought.”
“No matter how tiring the job is, I will keep energetic and beautiful.”
Rita had uploaded posts like these.
She tried to impress others that she was busy and had a lot of jobs.
Whoever knew Rita didn’t expose her tricks.
The sarcasm from Finley made Rita look bad. “Who will be so ridiculous to stay here for free lunch? The food here is terrible. I came here to learn from others. You are still young and inexperienced in this industry, so you should be more attentive and learn more.”
“Thank you for your advice. You are checking your Facebook. What is the news?” Finley asked with
curiosity.
Out of the corners of her eyes, Finley had seen Rita reading news about the death of Delia.
Rita should at least make a statement to show her support to Finley if she was a good sister.
However, Rita issued no statement. She smiled with pleasure when reading the news.
“Have you heard of the suicide at Capital University? I am following this news. It made a sensation.” Rita chatted with Finley because she was bored, or Chaim was handsome.
“Oh, I know that. People say that your little sister is the cause of this tragedy. What do you think?” Finley bit her lip and waited for the answer with agitation.
She might spare Rita if Rita defended her.
“My little sister was a troublemaker when at home. I was good to her, but she became smug and hurt my mother. Such a vicious girl isn’t qualified to be my sister. I am not surprised if she forces her haters to die,” Rita said indifferently.
There was contempt and hatred in her eyes.
Rita had the least intention of defending Finley.
