Chapter 274
“No!” The determined Finley looked a bit pale in the moonlight.
This refusal badly hurt Bryan.
Bryan, who was worried about Finley, didn’t sleep well in the past few days.
Now, Finley hurt him again and again.
Bryan almost boarded the plane back to Capital City.
However, he still decided to come back to Finley’s rescue in the last second.
Knowing that the assassination of Mr. Lopez would get Finley and himself in trouble, Bryan still came to her rescue without hesitation.
However, Finley was still willful and unruly.
Finley knew that her refusal would infuriate Bryan.
However, she had to do so. Finley had hired a lot of people to search for Gates.
She got no positive response till that man, who had escorted her out of the hall, appeared.
Finley firmly believed that he was Gates.
I would find him!
Finley shot a glance at Bryan with a trace of guilt in her bloodshot eyes. “I’m sorry. I’ll apologize to you after I am back.”
After that, she hurried to the slave market.
The doors of the auction hall were open.
The men trapped inside swarmed out.
Against the stream of people, Finley struggled forward.
Bryan remained where he was and trembled with anger.
A few moments passed.
Bryan ran in the direction of Finley.
Mr. Lopez was powerful in Sea City, so his family wouldn’t spare Finley.
There were dangers lurking in the auction hall.
Out of concern, Býran couldn’t leave Finley here.
The auction hall gradually became empty.
Finley had broken all the lights with her gun..
It was difficult to find a man in the darkness.
“Gates… Where are you? Come out now!”
Finley shouted at the auction hall.
Why didn’t he show up since he was still alive? Why did he dodge me?
Usually, he would fly back to Capital City directly.
Bang!
There came another gunshot.
Bryan held Finley by the waist, dodged the attack neatly, pinned her on the wall, and squinted at her coldly.
Bang!
Bryan raised his left hand.
He pulled the trigger.
He killed a bodyguard with one shot.
This move stunned Finley.
He shot without looking at the target! Awesome!
“I’m afraid that nobody will bury you after you die. At least we are husband and wife.”
Bryan raised his pistol again when saying those mean words.
He intended to let go of Finley.
A cold light flashed behind his back.
Alert, Finley immediately pushed Bryan away. “Be careful…”
