Chapter 40
“Mr. Turner, do you need me to invite Mrs. Tuner over?” Harry asked nervously.
Harry felt short of breaths because of the depressing atmosphere in the car.
It was rare that Bryan proposed to pick Finley up.
However, the timing was bad since Finley was chatting with Andy.
Harry felt a headache.
“Why? Can’t you see that a boy is anxious to escort her home?” The aura around Bryan became chilling.
Bryan looked away from Finley, took out a cigarette and a lighter, and then smoked.
“Mr. Turner, it’s going to rain.” Harry looked at the sky outside the window. The sky was overcast with clouds, and it seemed a storm was on its way.
“She is an expert in love. Are you afraid that she can’t find shelter for her? Let’s go!” Bryan ordered grimly, and the rings of smoke from his mouth smelled bad.
Harry had no choice but to start the car.
Arrived the chauffeur, who came to pick up Andy. Andy pulled open a car door and insisted on sending Finley home. Out of the corners of her eyes, Finley spotted a familiar car.
Afraid that she would make a mistake, Finley craned her head to see the car plate.
Finley was convinced by one glance that that car was Bryan’s.
“Andy, thank you. I have a free ride now. Goodbye.”
Finley waved goodbye to Andy. Then, she took out her mobile phone from her bag and called Bryan while running after his car.
The Turner Group and Capital University were located in the opposite direction of this city.
Therefore, Finley had a reason to think that Bryan had come to pick her up.
As for this abrupt departure, Finley suspected that Bryan had seen her talking with Andy.
Bryan’s cell phone kept ringing in the Maybach.
