Francis slightly raised his eyes and calmly looked at Lucas. He was in no hurry to speak.

After they looked at each other for a few seconds, Lucas could no longer maintain the smile on his face, so he said, "Mr. Landau?"

Francis showed a faint smile with a hint of sarcasm and said, "It's none of your business, right?"

Lucas had not expected him to be so rude. He was stunned and sullenly said, "I'm just casually asking because you locked her in the car. You..."

Before he could finish speaking, he felt someone tugging at his sleeve. After he turned around, he saw Lilian stare at him with a pleading look and slightly shake her head. She was signaling him to stop talking.

Staring after him, Lilian felt nervous. When she cautiously glanced at Francis, he was expressionless. But she vaguely felt ill at ease. When she was about to explain, he stood up and left.

Lilian hurriedly followed him. He walked so fast that she could barely keep up. So, she trotted along the way. After arriving at the parking lot, she quickly got into the car and turned her head to observe his reaction.

He leaned against the car window and lit a cigarette. The car was quiet. He didn't say anything but kept smoking. After finishing a cigarette, he started the car and drove it out.
