Hunk felt humiliated when he saw what Annetta had done. He furiously rushed to Annetta and scolded, "Give the necklace back to your sister! You can embarrass yourself, but don't embarrass us, White family, as well!" 

Annetta dangled the necklace in front of Hunk and asked, "Dad, why would you ask me to give my mother's necklace to Carla?" 

Hunk immediately frowned, never expecting Annetta to recognize her mother's necklace. He was used to lording over Annetta, so he snapped, "What do you mean your mother's necklace? This is our White family heirloom! If you don't know, don't simply assume!" 

"Look, everyone! The eldest daughter of the White family definitely bullies Carla at home! She even wants to snatch Carla's 18th birthday gift!" Natalia seized the opportunity and led everyone to 'besiege' Annetta. 

"This is too much!"

"She's crazy because she's poor!" 

"Get off of the stage quickly. Don't embarrass yourself!"

There were even people who threw things at Annetta. 

Annetta sneered, "Oh? White family heirloom, you say? But why is my name engraved on it?"

Annetta knew that it was her mother's because Flavia Powell had specially made this necklace for Annetta. She said that it would be Annetta's dowry. There was only one like it in the world. 

Hunk's face darkened. He did not know that this necklace was the dowry Flavia had prepared for his daughter and had certainly not noticed Annetta's name engraved on the necklace. 

Hunk was not willing to admit it and shouted angrily, "Nonsense! You are such a disgrace! Get out of here!"
