Freya lowered her head, feeling a wave of sadness. Earlier, she had hoped that once things settled down, she could rest more and start prenatal bonding activities for the baby. But that dream was no longer possible.
“Freya? What’s on your mind?” Micah noticed her expression and gently asked.
Freya shook her head. “It’s nothing. You should get back to work. I’ll be fine on my own.”
She held back her tears while he was with her, not wanting to burden him with her sorrow. Once he left, she could finally let herself grieve.
“I’ll stay a bit longer,” Micah said, unwilling to leave her alone.
As her husband, he knew her well. He could see she was holding something back, and he suspected it had to do with their loss. He couldn’t take away her physical pain, but he could at least offer comfort.
Freya saw through his gentle attempt to comfort her and smiled softly. “I just want to nap. Really, there’s no need for you to stay. Do you think I’d lie to you?”
Micah drew her close, wrapping an arm around her. “I’m just worried you’re keeping things to yourself. I don’t want you bottling it all up. Tell me what you’re feeling. It might help.”
Freya leaned against his shoulder, looking up and catching the concern in his eyes. “Micah,” she said, “as long as you’re here, I’m okay. I believe we’ll have another chance. Our baby will come back to us one day.”
"Get some more rest. I'll head out now, but I’ll be back to see you tomorrow. Make sure you take it easy for the next couple of days. Once we’re back home, if I have any video meetings, I might need to rely on you for a bit to take care of my father."
Nina had two young kids, and her daughter was just a few months old, so she could not leave them alone. Nash’s work schedule was as hectic as Micah’s, leaving Freya as the only one who might have a bit more flexibility.
“Alright. Make sure you get some rest too and don’t stay up too late tonight,” she replied, snuggling back into the blankets and drifting off.
Micah quietly rose, turning off the lights before closing the door softly behind him as he left.

I see you increased the number of chapters per day by 2, but please can we have like 20 chapters per day? 7 chapters is too little, the suspense is just crazy...

Oh god. EVERYTIME every freaking time Nash and Nina are on the edge to reconcile there's a third party. And Miranda!! Oh my God. I think the story is useless now. How come there's so much villain in their life. Gosh?!...
