CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery novel Chapter 1630

Hearing that all-too-familiar voice, Jamie recognized him instantly.

She turned to see Noah stride into the venue, his features bearing a striking resemblance to Ben’s, though his expression was laced with arrogance and defiance.

Jamie’s brows knitted together slightly.

It was unsettling to see a face so similar to Ben’s wear such a brazenly cocky look. It almost felt like a mockery of the man she knew so well.

Tim seemed to hesitate for a moment before addressing Noah, “Ah, Mr. Noah Lucas, you’re quite late.”

Everyone knowingly referred to him as "Mr. Noah," carefully distinguishing him from Ben.

Noah chuckled at the implied slight in Tim’s words. “Better late than never, right? I’m still a guest, which means I have the right to join in.”

Tim hesitated, wiping the light sweat forming on his brow. “Technically… yes, that’s true.”

The unspoken tension in the room was palpable. Noah was clearly stirring the pot, but to what end?

Seizing the opportunity, Noah took a golf club from a waiting attendant and strolled onto the course.

At that moment, Ben was still on the green. The two brothers didn’t exchange a word or even a glance as Noah stepped into the space. Yet the tension was undeniable, wrapping itself around the spectators like a coiled spring.

Jamie’s heart clenched. She glanced between the two men, unease bubbling inside her. She wanted Ben to win. No, she needed him to win.

Noah’s first shot was smooth, sending the ball sailing beautifully toward the target. A round of applause erupted, breaking the tension momentarily.

Noah raised an eyebrow and smirked toward Ben. “So, Ben, what’s your record? How many shots?”

“Seven,” someone nearby answered before Ben could.

Ben, however, simply placed his club down and turned to leave without a word.

“Leaving already?” Noah taunted, his voice dripping with mockery. “Don’t tell me you can’t handle a little competition.”

Ben paused, casting a calm glance over his shoulder.

Noah smirked, confident and assured as he set up for his next shot. One by one, his strokes landed flawlessly. With each successful attempt, the crowd’s murmurs grew louder, anticipation mounting.

Finally, Noah reached his last ball. He lined up the shot, his posture radiating triumph.
