Nina raised an eyebrow. "Not bad for a first attempt. Let's see if you have a natural talent."

Half an hour later, Wilfred emerged from the kitchen. There was no smell of smoke, which meant he had not blown up the kitchen. But when he set the dishes on the table, Nina was taken aback.

"Alright." Wilfred quickly went to the oven to retrieve the chips. When he brought them out, he looked a bit dejected. The chips were burnt to a crisp.

"I'm sorry, I followed the instructions exactly, but they still burned."

Wilfred had stuck to the cooking times strictly, but it had not worked out. It seemed the instructions were wrong.
