Seeing Nina lying motionless on the bed, Nash’s face was full of tension and urgency. He ran over and immediately took Nina into his arms. At that moment, Nina was too stunned to react.

"It’s okay," Nina responded.

Nash waited outside but his eyes were still glued to Nina as she continued her check-up. He was deeply worried about her. Watching her endure such pain hurt him too. He knew he had to wait, but soon he would have the antidote.

"As expected, it’s clear that you and Nina haven’t reached the point of no return," Yvonne said, seeing Nash’s frantic concern for Nina. She could tell he still loved her.

Nash turned to Yvonne, masking his emotions. "How did you notice?"

"The way you two divorced so suddenly, Nina must have sensed something. What’s really going on with her?" Yvonne asked, worried.

Nash replied, "She’ll be fine. We will find a cure for the poison."

"Poison? Is this Miranda’s doing?" Yvonne immediately suspected. "Is she using Nina to threaten you?"

"It’s a long story. Miranda might not even have the antidote. Getting close to her is the only chance we have," Nash explained.
